Meet Dr. Eric Thorsgard

Dr. Eric Thorsgard is originally from Thief River Falls, MN. He received his undergraduate degree at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and his DVM from the University of Minnesota in 1987. After graduating from veterinary school, he worked as a mixed and dairy practitioner before opening up Animal Care Clinic in 1997 with his wife Gerri, focusing on preventative care, pet surgery, and orthopedics.

Dr. Thorsgard has invented and sold orthopedic surgical hardware to veterinarians in the US and Europe. Because of his orthopedic skills, clinics across northern Minnesota, eastern North Dakota, and southern Manitoba refer their surgical cases to Dr. Thorsgard and Animal Care Clinic.
